Privacy Policy
Effective September 29, 2026
Movo is a workout app: bring a plan, follow it set by set. We process only what the features need. No ads, no cross-app tracking, no accounts, no selling of data.
On your device
Plans, workout history, settings and your Pro status are stored on your iPhone (in an app-group container shared with the Movo widget and share extension). Photos, screenshots and PDFs you import are read on the device and never uploaded.
Apple Health (optional)
If you turn it on, finished workouts are written to Apple Health as strength workouts. Movo never reads your health data.
Voice
Speaking to the coach is turned into text on the device when possible; otherwise Apple's speech service processes it under Apple's privacy policy. We never receive or keep recordings.
AI coach (only when you use it)
When you chat with the coach, the text of your chat messages is sent to our server and passed to an AI service (Anthropic's Claude via OpenRouter) to suggest a plan made of exercises from Movo's library. Nothing else is sent — not your plans, history or health data. We don't store the messages. A random install identifier is sent for rate limiting. If you add your own OpenRouter key in Settings, your messages go directly to OpenRouter instead. Our server runs on Supabase.
Subscriptions
Movo Pro is sold through Apple's In-App Purchase. Apple handles payment; we never see payment details.
Deleting data
Settings → Reset local data deletes everything on the device. Settings → Export gives you a copy first. We hold no account or server copy of your plans or history.
Children
Movo is not directed to children under 13.
